Beta Build

I've been working for the past few weeks on getting the beta build of the game put together. So far, there have been some significant issues that popped up over development, from minor bugs like HUDS showing up where they shouldn't, to bigger issues like the firetruck not working at all. With the deadline approaching soon, it may have to come down to me scrapping the idea of the firetruck and reworking its mechanics into something else. However, on a brighter note, I've started work on the last touches to the level design and the sequences for the game, the bad ending sequence being finished and the normal ending sequence halfway done. I've also incorporated a new sprinting mechanic to help make getting around the town easier.

There are still a few other bugs and glitches to be ironed out, but this project is beginning to near completion. While it may seem like I won't be able to include some of the features I originally wanted to due to time constraints, I'm still learning a lot from the process of creating this game, notably my own limitations on what I can feasibly create for a game and some new features of programming with blueprints in Unreal Engine 5. I'm due to begin playtesting soon for the final build, but regardless, I will still try to incorporate the firetruck before my deadline.
